About V3 and Founder & Owner:
Hunter Price
At its conception, the vision for our V3 brand was to help leaders, especially within the niches of coaching and Christian leadership. When thinking about what skills a leader most needs we settled on three: using your VOICE to communicate a message, crafting and implementing your VISION, and relentlessly chasing VICTORY. What we produce, we aim to take on those three concepts. Our writing and podcast production will always include the human elements of vulnerability and light-heartedness. We will never act like our way is the only way, and we will never take ourselves too seriously, which we hope allows you to find relatability in our product.
“I wasted too many years of my marriage, relationships, and coaching career due to pride and laziness. I was good on my own, I didn’t need help. Unfortunately, I experienced lows in all areas of my life that woke me up. I started actively searching for information. I read my Bible more. I surrounded myself with positive influences. I hired quality assistant coaches. I started asking any coach I could for advice. See, once I unveiled my eyes of the deep rooted pride I was blinded by, I started growing in every area of my life. What I hope to do with V3 is to help you not make the same mistakes I did. This content is intended to do three things. 1) Help and shine a light on high school coaches. 2) Teach the Bible in a non-threatening way through conversation. And using that information to teach us how to lead better. 3) Allow you to detach from the stresses of the world and join us for fun conversation.” - V3 Founder, Hunter Price
Family
I have been married to my wonderful, beautiful, brilliant wife Natalie since 2015. We have two sons: Griffin and Nolan. We love playing sports, watching competition based TV, swimming, and being at church.
I grew up with three brothers in the most competitive environment possible. My incredible parents had their hands full with us. It was never easy to get a win in anything. Whether it was video games or driveway basketball, you heard about it when you lost. Growing up with that I learned early on that nothing comes easy and you have to compete to win. I think us four boys have high work ethic because we’re so competitive that we’re not OK with settling for second place.
Coaching
I spent 12 years coaching as an assistant coach (Pleasant Plains High School IL, and Glenwood High School IL), manager (University of Illinois Springfield), freshman/JV coach (Oconomowoc High School WI), and varsity coach (Big Foot High School WI).
Accolades: Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Achievement Award. Southern Lakes News Coach of the Year. School records for wins in a season, points scored in a season, points scored in a game, playoff wins, furthest playoff run, and consecutive wins.
Specialty: Team culture and switch everything defense.
Podcast
The Lord created me to be a story teller and connecter. There is no better way to use those gifts than a podcast.
I hope to achieve 3 objectives.
1) Shine the light of Jesus in a dark world by helping people embrace a Christ-like lifestyle.
2) Help high school coaches feel seen and educated.
3) Have fun and talk to awesome people.
