Johnnie is a teaching pastor at Springfield Bible Church. He excels in theology and is a fantastic applicator of the word. Johnnie is someone who gives excellent advice and is the ultimate encourager. He also happens to be a great friend and colleague of mine. Although he’s on my Christian leadership series, don’t think he can’t hoop. Johnnie was all state in high school and played basketball for Wheaton College. Featured on our Wednesday theology series.

Jay has coached at Viterbo University, WI and Jefferson High School, WI. He is currently the head varsity coach at Oconomowoc High School, WI. Jay is on the WBCA board as well, running the Wisconsin coaches clinic. He was a mentor of mine as a coach and is now a good friend. Jay is someone who truly cares about his staff and players. His enthusiasm for the game is second to none. He’s someone who does incredible things for Wisconsin basketball. Capel is currently in the athletic administration department for the University of Southern Indiana. Before that he was a standout high school and college athlete. Capel won a state championship in basketball and was a part of the 2013 Illinois Hall of Fame Harrisburg Bulldogs team. After high school he played college basketball for Lewis University (IL). Keelin is currently a doctor in physical therapy. As an athlete he was an incredible baseball player who was drafted by the Atlanta Braves. After choosing the college route he had a successful career at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Not only was he great at baseball, he excelled at football and basketball as well.
